Problem
The previous logo fell flat
Kuliadove was presented with the company's current logo, one that was tacked on without a strategy. The creative brief highlighted words such as masculine, precise, and trustworthy, so the logo design phase kept those words as Kuliadove's north star. Kuliadove called for an exciting new direction for the client's brand identity, in time for the upcoming certification.
Solution
A bold, new look with a functional feel
After visiting the metrology lab, I now understood why the business was having trouble—the logo was using tools as its focus. The business needed a dynamic design that would resonate with its automotive clients.
Kuliadove scrapped many concepts that looked too pointy. The jagged edges on some shapes looked like things were broken, rather than coming together.
The logo is inspired twofold: by probes used in the metrology field and a lightning bolt. The Russo One font beside the logo design offers stability and establishes the authority that the previous design was missing.
Having found a graphic designer that finally shed some light on my problem. I had been looking and had gone through a few designers. Alyssa listened and took time to give me updates and even through the reviews she didn't disappoint. I felt my business was in great hands. Thank you for your help and professionalism.
