Creative direction

Kuliadove presented several concepts, but the client was drawn to the dynamic lightning bolt design. Kuliadove took inspiration from the probes commonly used in the metrology field, and wound down a strong tail to form the bolt.

Moodboard

After visiting the metrology lab, Kuliadove now understood why the business was having trouble—the logo was using tools as its focus. The business needed a dynamic design that would resonate with its automotive clients.

Kuliadove scrapped many concepts that looked too pointy. The jagged edges on some shapes looked like things were broken, rather than coming together.

A bold new look

The navy blue logo with the technical Russo One font were excellent choices for the 10 year business. The previous logo wasn't simple enough to make a lasting impression.

Not to mention the phone number that couldn't reach the business anymore being removed!
